FK-40 Boot Knife
Wonderful example of an unmarked fighting knife. This particular example has just the lightest evidence of use and some very minor sharpening. It retains it's original shape and some real nice crossgrain. This one has good hardwood grip plates that are not cracked or chipped. The scabbard retains about 99% of original paint with some crazing. The boot clip functions just fine. Exc++

FK-27 Fighting Knife with 4 Tools
Hard to find variation these were issued to machine gun crews. This one has smooth walnut grip plates. The obverse has a crack at the top rivet which is clearly shown. The grip plates are secured with 3 rivets. The blade shows evidence of age and some age and maintains it's original shape. The scabbard retains about 95% of original paint and is dent-free. This design has a nice leather frog with a brass closure stud. The leather is all supple. Exc+

FK-44 Abourgad Fighting Knife
French made knife often taken and adopted by the German occupying forces. This one has a smooth red grained wood grip. The grip is secured with a spanner bolt. Crossguard is steel. The blade shows evidence of age and some age and maintains it's original shape. The anodized scabbard shows age and oxidation. Exc+

Good example straight from the Vet's family. This particular example has just the lightest evidence of use and some light scratches from cleaning but no sharpening. It retains it's original shape and some real nice crossgrain. This one has good hardwood grip plates that are not cracked or chipped they do however show some pressure marks from wear. The scabbard retains about 99% of original paint with some crazing. The boot clip functions just fine. Exc++
