Ti-382 German Miner's Tinnie
The front reads: "Glück Auf!" (. something my wife has told me a few times. at least I think that's what she said!! ?) which is translates to: "Pull me up" a common saying among miners in the Ruhr area, (thanks Vogt!). The back reads: "Soll das Werk den Meister loben, Doch der Segen kommt von oben", which is translated to: "The factory will praise the master yet the blessing comes from above". This quote is also written in "Song of the Bell". Some oxidization has occurred. Overall Exc+.

FM Mitglieder" These ornate versions of Std FM members pin were created at Himmler's order to honor the first 30,000 financial supporters of the SS, later these were extended to the first 50,000. Meissen Porcelain Medallions

Ti-266 Meissen Remembrance of Victory at Sevastopol Medallion
This is a white porcelain medallion made in the old tradition of Meissen porcelain. It measures 50mm in diameter. The front has the profile of a giant piece of artillery reminiscent of the devastating effects of artillery on the city in 1942 when the Germans unleashed their largest railway guns in the nine month Siege of Sevastopol. Around this it says, "Taking of Sevastopol July 1 1942". The reverse has a diamond shaped map showing the area of victory with the "spoils" mentioned in the sides. "3103 guns, 430,000 prisoners, 1198 tanks and 3597 factories" This is surrounded by the words, "To German soldiers nothing is impossible!". This example is in wonderful condition being free of chips, cracks or any damage, there is some minor soil. This piece is marked with the official Crossed swords trademark of Meissen. NM
