UN-14 Artillery Oberfeldwebel (NCO) Waffenrock
This is a very nice private purchase, Army green wool based tunic. It is a textbook example with the std 8 pebbled buttons in the front with dual brass hooks and eyes positioned at the neckline. The right breast has an officer quality hand embroidered Army bullion breast eagle. The left breast has loops for wear of awards. The right breast and shoulder has a 2nd pattern Grade I Army Marksman Lanyard in excellent condition except for a bit of mothing to the reverse behind the alloy badge. The tunic has red wool waffenfarbe running down the full length of both the left and right front closure panel edges, around the top edge of the simulated French cuffs, at the forward edge of the collar and on either sides of the reverse tail skirt vent. The simulated French cuffs and the collar are bothconstructed of dark blue/green badge cloth. The cuffs feature bullion embroidered on on red wool bases with al button. The reverse of the tunic has a central, vertical, tail skirt vent piped in bright red wool waffenfarbe with buttons. The tunic has the correct sewn-on 2nd pattern shoulder boards of a Oberfeldwebel with the correct bullion tress, pips, and regimental designation cypher "54" along with company designation "6." retaining buttons. The collar has nice quality bullion tabs that are correct for an Artillery NCO. The right sleeve has a weapons maintenance trade badge. The 2nd button-hole has a KVK II ribbon. The interior of the tunic is fully lined in ribbed, grey/green rayon. The lining has a interior pocket and a belt. with a blued sheet metal buckle. The tunic is in overall very good condition with light age and usage toning, minor chafe wear to the cuffs and collar edges there are also 2 small gaps where the seams come together at the reverse. The stitches have come loose here and they need to be tightened. The material itself does not have a hole. I can not see any mothing except for behind the lanyard badge that I already mentioned. This is a real nice tunic. Exc++

Aigiullettes

LAN-5017 Early Boxed Army/Luftwaffe Aigiullette for Dress uniform
Rare item to find and something that truly finishes a Parade uniform with lots of bling. This is constructed of early silver bullion as opposed to the later aluminum type. It is complete and damage free. The box itself has some of the imitation leatherette missing from the top. It looks to me like something was glued on there and later torn off? The bottom side is also pushed-in in one area. This would be an easy fix and I leave that to you. Rare accoutrement. Exc++
