Uniforms![]() Gross Deutschland Medical Tunic Here's a nice private purchase tunic by the firm of Gutezeichen des Herrenschneide Randwerks, (see pics). Tunic is in good shape with some moth nips to the collar and left arm. Slip on shoulder boards are of aluminum braid with the familiar serpent intertwined on a staff. on blue wool signifying the rank of Oberstabsarzt, the medical equivalent of a Major. Collar has the familiar has no piping and the reverse is properly zig zag stitched . The collar tabs are stitched into place. Nice Krim shield is glued in place, I'm tempted to have it properly stitched but prefer to leave it as is. The interior is fully lined. The are a few water/sweat stains. Cufftitle is of wool construction with script wording in bright silver bullion. The top and bottom edges are bordered with a double row piping. The whole tunic shows light wear.
