Killer Eickhorn Prison Official Sword

Absolutely stunning pattern sword. Just imagine for one second what this sword has seen and the fear surrounding it. These Prison Officials held the power of life and death every day. This one is from my personal collection where it has resided for at least 10 years. This pattern Prison sword may well be the evilest looking pattern of all Third Reich swords. Cast of solid brass and gilded. These brass based examples are the most desirable and the hardest to find. It's all hand enhanced and finally lacquered, lots of time and care went into these. The huge plated blade rates Mint- being bright and clean right to the tip with no plating loss, gray or anything else to make excuses about. This blade is marked with the stamped mid-period Eickhorn maker mark. Sorry it's near impossible to photograph up and under there but trust me, it's there. The blade is NOT the same as an ordinary Army blade, this is a thicker and wider. Not sure I could call is "Grosser" but it is special. This pattern is illustrated in Angolia's reference. The correct black glossy enamel painted scabbard has just the lightest evidence of use. There are a couple wee impressions I have clearly shown. You can't see them unless you hold the scabbard just so in the sun. It has original paint is better than 99%. Wonderfully evil head design!!! The "P" guard has deeply detailed feather pattern similar to that of the back-strap continuing down from the bird head. The obverse languet features a raised-out long-winged Casburg, (Eickhorn's Head Artist)designed political-style eagle. The grip is black celluloid and is in perfect shape without chips or cracks. It is wrapped with triple brass wire. Ok guys I have owned every single type Judicial and Prison Official sword made. I've handled lots of them and this sword is hands down the best I ever have seen. I paid stupid money for it cause it was for me. It's not cheap and Yes you can find one somewhere cheaper but I assure you not near the quality of this! If you are anal this is for you. Actually the more I talk about it the less I want to sell it! Please do not buy it!! :)
