German WWII > Belt Buckles > Luftwaffe >
Here we have a single piece, aluminum based, die struck early type one Luftwaffe belt buckle by Adolf Baumeister Ludenscheid 1937. The front depicts; a centrally placed first pattern Luftwaffe open winged, droop tail eagle clutching a swastika in one of its talons, on a pebbled field, that is all encircled by a laurel leaf wreath, which then all lies on a pebbled background. The buckle is in good condition with good detail. The aluminum prongs and catch remain in great condition! A great example of a first pattern Luftwaffe belt buckle! Nice!
