Restored Dachau SS NCO Degan

Here's a really nice degan. The blade on this one looks great, it has been polished. The fit is nice and tight and it is unmarked as often seen with these later produced Dachau swords. The 32" blade rates Exc+/Exc++. A replacement buffer pad remains intact. The black enamel dent-free repainted scabbard is in great shape. The paint coverage remains better than 100%. The slip on upper scabbard fitting has no burnish as is most often seen with these swords, see Whittmann's ref. pg 402. The plated hilt is a beauty with 100% plating. The grip is in fine shape with no chips or splits. The cast ferrule is nicely detailed with handwork throughout. The pommel nut has the correct SS cast runes in place. Overall an outstanding example at a fraction of what you would pay for un untouched example.
