Here we have a nice zinc based, die struck, silver washed Silver Heer Close Combat Clasp by Unknown Maker #1. The obverse depicts a crossed model 24 grenade and K98 bayonet with leaves, acorns and lined rays all beneath an open winged Heer eagle clutching a swastika within its talons. The reverse of the badge is flat with a horizontal coke bottle pin, catch and hinge. The fluted pin, hinge and catch all work well! The badge depicts beautiful details throughout! An excellent example that you would be proud to own! See pg. 244 of Durante’s CCC reference book.
