Here we have an early 1st Pattern Police Cap Eagle! It is a two piece die stamped, tombak based, silver washed example. The obverse depicts a police eagle, with outstretched wings clutching a swastika within its talons and is surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath. The reverse is a hollow version of the front. It continues to retain both of its prongs. Early, beautiful detail, excellent condition!
