Here we have a completely matching textbook Alcoso Army Dagger! The blade on this one looks excellent! The fit is nice and tight, the tip comes to a perfect point and the crossgrain is wonderful! The early dark and crisp, acid etched "Alcoso ACS Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! It also has the early tapered tang! The blade rates a solid Exc++. It shows a bit of age grey throughout, but that's it. The original large brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The early silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! The tip of the scabbard has some pressure marks to either side. Both original throat retaining screws remains intact. The silver plated Alcoso eagle crossguard provides beautiful hand enhanced details throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. The textbook flared Alcoso pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with hand enhancing and proud oak leaves and acorns. All of the components match in color, plating and patina. The silver plating throughout remains in superb condition! The warm orange, trylon grip on this one looks great! It has a few fea bites but no cracks, hits, dirt or splits! This is a great example that I wouldn't let go!
