Here's an excellent example of a Red Cross EM Dagger! The bright blade on this one looks great! The crossgrain is easily visible and the teeth on the saw back are in perfect condition. To the reverse of the blade is nicely marked ?GES. GESCHUTZT?, just behind the crossguard. It has a nice solid fit to it as well. The blade rates an Exc++. It shows the common age greying and one small rough area to the edge. The leather washer is tightly in place. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard retains 96% paint coverage and it remains completely dent free! It shows some age sidering throughout. The plated nickel scabbard fittings look excellent! They retain 99% plating coverage and match the hilt fittings in color and age. All four screws remain tightly secured and intact. The medallion has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The correct grip plates are in perfect condition! They are tightly secured by two steel screws. Overall this is an excellent example with some nice features to it!
