German WWII > Belt Buckles > Other >
This is a beautiful and scarce piece! The rectangle buckle is die stamped, aluminum based and silver washed. The obverse features a centrally placed DAF logo: which consists of a centrally placed mobile swastika that is surrounded by a cog wheel. This lies on a smooth field with four domes, one to each corner. The steel prongs and brass catch remain in great condition. This piece comes complete with its died brown/black leather belt that has two decorative bordered lines. The tongue is attached with two rivets and two extra holes were added to the end. The guy must have got bigger as time went on. The steel catch remains tightly intact with two rivets. A nice piece to add to your collection!
