A neat little piece of art here! Here we have a .900 silver 1 Forint Coin that has been turned into a medal! The obverse of the medal shows a cut out Hungarian Coat of arms surrounded by "1869 MAGYAR ORSZAG 1*F AP. KIRALYA" and again surrounded by a twisted and flat border. The reverse shows a cut out portrait of Franz Joseph and is surrounded by "FERENCZ JÖZSEF A - CSÄSZÄR K.B." (meaning "Franz Joseph, the emperor") along with a well working pin, hinge and catch. A cool little trinket!
