Luftwaffe Flak Badge by GWL

Here we have a two-piece, zinc based, die struck Luftwaffe flak badge GWL. The obverse depicts an anti-aircraft gun that is surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath and is below/behind a Luftwaffe eagle, clutching a swastika in one of its talons. The reverse of the badge correctly displays; the circular "GWL" (Gebruder Wegerhoff & Lüdenscheid) maker mark. The reverse also shows the correct stamped hinge, steel pin and stamped catch. The pin is magnetic and all of the components are in well working condition! I did replace the hinge-pin as it was just tied in there with a wire. It depicts great detail throughout and will make for a nice display! See pg. 120-124 of M. Glascos book or 419 of Previtera's book.
