A neat variant! This convex award is made of a die struck, three piece alloy construction. The obverse features a black pattee style cross with a centrally placed embossed "W" (cypher for King Wilhelm II), below a Kings crown and above "1914", all within a ribbed and flat boarder. The reverse shows a full concave backing with; a soldered sheet metal oval hinge, soldered round wire catch and coke bottle pin. The paint continues to looks great and the age patina is nicely displayed throughout! A solid imperial example!
