A neat piece from the WHW Germanic Archeology Series. This is the gold version, there is also a silver one. This round tinnie is made of a yellow molded celluloid base that has been gold gilded. The obverse depicts a crosslet cross with four swastikas (one to each corner) on a rough background and surrounded by a dotted pattern. The reverse shows the yellow celluloid base with a full flat back and an embossed: "Bermollern, Kr. Weissenfels Goldbrakteat UM 600, Thuringisch". It also has an impressed round plate steel well working pin. A great addition to the full series.
