Give your collection some klass with a JLL variation! You've got to love the variation Klaas brings to the table! The more desirable period upgraded plated blade on this one looks excellent. It has a beautifully executed stamped "Robt Klaas Solingen" maker mark! It has a perfect tip and perfect fit. The plating is excellent, giving it a mirror like finish! The blade on this one rates a solid Exc++. There is minor plating loss and surface scratched throughout. The buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver Klaas scabbard looks excellent! It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remains intact! The burnished Klaas aluminum eagle crossguard, steel gilt ferrule and pommel all look awesome and match quite nicely in patina age! The eagle has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. Klaas always took extra time enhancing their eagles! The early unique Klaas trylon grip has aged to a nice yellow over time. No cracks, chips or splits! Now, take a second to look at the grip wire| It is wrapped in two separate strands. This is exactly how Klaas did it. These neat variations are one of the reasons I collect Klaas by the way! The wire wrap remains tightly intact. This is an excellent example and is a piece you will feel proud to own!
