Here we have a Chromolithograph of a color painting by Hans Friedmann. The painting depicts five Luftwaffe Flak men in blue grey trench coats and caps, in a field, looking off in the distant searching for allied aircraft with a spotlight. There is an aircraft fighting scene off to the top-right in the clouds with explosions. The artist’s name is off to the bottom-right hand corner reading “Hans Friedmann”. To the right, of the artist’s name, is a copyright symbol and what appears to be “D.M.” (publisher?). There is some crazing/cracking and water stains throughout. The back is white and shows some more age wear. This would be best held and sustained in a frame. It measures 30 cm high by 40 cm wide. Beautiful workmanship and detail displayed throughout!
