RZM M7/27 SA Dagger

Here's a nice looking RZM piece! The blade on this one looks great. The crisp acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "RZM M7/27" (Pumawerk (Lauterjung & Sohn), Solingen) maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning as it shines against the light, all the way from the hit to tip! The tip is perfect and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. It shows spotting/age staining throughout. The steel based, brown enamel painted scabbard has 98% of its original paint still intact and it remains completely dent free! The steel based nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings look wonderful with 99% plating still intact! The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws remain intact. The scabbard/crossguard fit is near perfect! The alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards are in decent shape. They show the common plating loss with 90% coverage. The light brown hardwood grip looks excellent! It has a wee hairline crack just above the roundel and pressure marks throughout (one fairly larger to the reverse). There are no chips or flakes. The aluminum eagle is a bit worn yet still shows nice detail. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and has a perfect fit! A good looking piece!
