An excellent mottoed example here! The blade on this one looks great! The acid etched "Blut und Ehre!" motto and the dark and crisp double "Puma Solingen Ges. Geschützt", "RZM M7/27 1937" maker marks are all beautifully executed! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an Exc+/Exc++. It has been sharpened but that's it. The original brown leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is in great shape! It retains 70% of its original paint coverage and remains completely dent free! The blackened scabbard leather remains in excellent shape! All of its rivets are intact and the button continues to work well! The top cover of the snap is lost to time. The steel based nickel-silver plated hilt is in excellent shape, with 99% of its plating still intact! The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in perfect condition and tightly secured with two rivets. The early HJ diamond retains 99.9% of its enamel! A great transitional example!
