Here we have a Veterans NSKOV Visor Cap Eagle. It is constructed out of a die stamped nickel-silver alloy that has been silver washed and contains red and black paint work. The obverse depicts a larger closed winged eagle clutching a bannered "NSKOV" in its talons and has, on its chest, the NSKOV logo, which consists of a mobile swastika (on a red circular base) in front of a back cross and a vertical broad sword, and is all surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath. The reverse shows a hollow back and two of three tombak prongs. There are three holes, two to the top wing tips and one to the base, where it would have been stitched to the visor. It measures approximately1 15/16 inches wide and tall. Nice paint and silver wash remain!
