Here we have a transitional NSDAP Membership Pin! It is constructed out of a die struck bronze base that has been bronze washed and contains multi-colored enamel work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: "NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P." on a red translucent pebbled backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a soldered on round plate which holds a broken horizontal pin. The back is marked "76 RZM" (Hillenbrand & Br?er, Lüdenscheid). The enamel work is in good condition, only minor crazing/scratches yet 97%+ intact. The pin measures approximately 15/16 of an inch in diameter. An inexpensive item!
