Wow this has got to be one of the nicest Land Customs we've own so far! The bright blade on this one is gorgeous! The acid etched "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain full length of the blade and is quite stunning as you shine it in the. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! Just the way you want to see it! The blade rates Mint-. The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, original blue-green pebbled leather covered scabbard is wonderful as well! It only has one wee area of thinning but that's it! It continues to retain 99% coverage! The three steel based and silver washed slanted scabbard fittings show the correct chased line approximately 5mm in from the front scabbard fitting edges. The throat is integral to the upper fitting as we see on 95% of these. The scabbard continues to remain dent free and all three headless screws remain intact. The scabbard fits snugly up against the hilt. The aluminum based and silver washed upswept Customs eagle shows beautiful detail! The aluminum based, silver washed ferrule and pommel also show the same beautiful craftsmanship, with the proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. The original grip leather is also in awesome shape matching the scabbard! It is correctly and tightly springy wire wrapped. All of the patina, color and age match throughout. A quality, striking piece that you won't need to upgrade!
