Imperial Prussian V.D.P.E.B. Railway Stickpin

Here we have a Prussian Railway Club Stickpin. It is constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been gold gilded and contains black white and red translucent enamel work. The obverse features the three national colors (black, white and red) on a 45 degree angle with "V.D.P.E.B." (Verein Der Preussischen Eisenbahner Beamten) on the white portion, which is all within a shield shape and underneath a winged railway wheel. The reverse features a semi-hollo backing and has a soldered on knurled stickpin to the back. The very tip may have broken off. It measures 5/8 of an inch wide by 15/16 of an inch tall. Nice enamel and gilding remain!
