A nice looking piece! The blade on this one looks good. The stamped "RZM M7/13" (Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co., Solingen-Wald) maker mark is beautifully executed. The crossgrain is easily visible from the ricasso to the tip. The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates an Exc+. It has a nick out of the cutting edge along with age spotting and surface scratches throughout. The original black leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is in great shape! It shows minor spidering throughout yet retains 97%+ of its original paint coverage and remains completely dent free! The blackened pig-skin scabbard leather remains in good shape. All of its rivets are intact and the button continues to work well! The leather shows typical age wear. The zinc-alloy based nickel-silver plated hilt is in good shape. It continues to retain 90%+ coverage. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are in practically perfect shape and secured by two steel rivets. The HJ diamond retains 99%+ of its enamel! A great looking piece!
