Here we have a type 19 pattern Army Officer's Parade Saber with the stylized ten-petal cherry blossom attributed to army swords. The grip consists of a black buffalo horn with triple wire wrapped in brass. The blade is the standard shape with a long fuller or groove, chrome plated with a false, acid etched temper line. The blade is in excellent condition and only has some surface scratches and minor age. The tiger-stripe temper line is quite prominent but these are always difficult to photograph, trust me it's there. The leather buffer pad remains in position. The scabbard is the standard chrome/nickel plated with a two suspension rings. The scabbard is worn particularly where it would have rubbed in wear.
We would recommend that you read our Policies page before making a purchase.
