Lovely craftsmanship! Luftwaffebeamte Kriegsinspektor (2nd Lieutenant Equivalent). They are constructed out of a tan buckram base that is covered in a light green stitched/glued on wool with hand embroidered silver/aluminum flatwire threads and is piped in a stitched on silver/aluminum flatwire twisted rope. The obverse of each features a silver rank pip above a silver oak leaf and acorn cluster, that is tied together at the center, which lies on a green backing and is surrounded by a silver twisted rope. The reverse's shows the buckram base, to the center, which has a printed on "15" stamp to it, that is surrounded by the folded over green wool covering, tan stitching and is surrounded by that same silver twisted rope. This piece is in wonderful condition with only minor moth thinning! Beautiful!
