Italian M1891 Bayonet

Here we have an Italian M1891 Bayonet! It was designed for use on the 6.5mm Carcano Modello 1891 bolt action Infantry Rifle. The blued, single fuller, 11 ¾ inch long blade looks good. It is marked "RFSCL". It rates Exc/Exc+. It shows sharpening and pitting throughout. The blued scabbard shows some oxidization spotting and surface scratches throughout. It has one pressure mark to the obverse. The blued hilt is marked on the crossguard is stamped "AV 4237" along with "RC" inside of an oval and "P" to the other side. The pommel button continues to work well. The two wood grip plates look good there is a small crack to the reverse. A good one!
