"RJA" German National Youth Sports Stickpin

Here we have a 2nd model "RJA" German National Youth Sports Stickpin. It is constructed out of a die struck zinc alloy base that has been silver washed and burnished. The round shaped obverse features a stylized "RJA" above a pebbled background that is surrounded by an oak leaf wreath with a mobile swastika to the bottom. The semi-hollow reverse is maker marked "Wernstein Jena" and has a soldered on and knurled stickpin. The face measures approximately 5/8 of an inch in diameter. A rare piece!
