2nd Model Luftwaffe by Alcoso

Here we have a nicely patinaed Alcoso example fresh from the Vet's family. The blade on this one is tired with age gray and a bit of a wave toways the tip. The dark and crisp acid etched "Alcoso ACS Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The original brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based scabbard has nice aluminum bands that match the hilt. It has nice details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. There is a good hit to the lower obverse. It shows surface oxidization throughout and both throat retaining screws remains intact! The aluminum eagle crossguard has nice detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The pommel is beautifully hand enhanced! The early trylon grip has aged to a dark orange over time. The correct double twist wire wrap remains intact. The whole piece shows honest ageing.
