A quality piece! The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Gebr. Gräfrath Solingen" maker mark are both beautifully executed! The crossgrain is easily visible all the way from the hilt to the tip. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates in at NM. It shows minor age spotting and the commonly seen surface scratches throughout. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard is a beauty! It continues to remain completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great matching the crossguards in color and patina! The ball has been hit and has a hole to it. All four scabbard screws remain tightly intact. The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "He" (Hessen). The brown hardwood grip looks great! It shows several pressure marks throughout along with one flake/chip. The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 95%+ of its enamel. A nice one!
