A nice piece here! The plated blade on this one looks great! It retains a nice bright mirror like finish! The "Original Eickhorn Solingen" stamped maker mark is nicely executed! The tip comes to a sharp point. The blade rates an Exc+/Exc++. It has a small wiggle to it and it has been cleaned. The buffer pad is lost to time. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard remains completely dent free! The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The zinc-alloy based, nickel-silver plated hilt looks great. The plating remains 99%+ intact. The button continues to work well. The black bakelite diamond grip plates that are nicely fit being tightly secured by 2 steel rivets. There is one crack to the obverse. This one also comes with a crazed black frog. A good one.
