Large Golden Party Badge by Deschler

A beautiful larger version (30mm) Goldene Parteiabzeichen! These were awarded to the first 100,000 members who joined the NSDAP without interrupted service since February 27th 1925. It is constructed out of a two piece die struck tombak base that has been gold fire gilded and contains red, white and black enamel work. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: "NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P." on a red translucent pebbled backing, has a thin white boarder, that is applied to a golden oak leaf wreath that is tied together at the bottom. The full back reverse is stamped "Ges. Gesch." along with the NSDAP member's number "94778". It also has a horizontally soldered on rectangular shaped plate, that is marked "Deschler & Sohn Munchen 9" and holds a well working tombak pin. The enamel work is in beautiful condition with only the slightest peppering / scratches. The gliding is beautiful as well! It measures approximately 1 3/16 inches in diameter. A beautiful addition to your collection!
