1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger by WKC with Provenance

Here's a solid example of an uncleaned early 1st model Luftwaffe dagger by WKC. The plated blade on this one looks great! The WKC maker mark is beautifully executed! It remains nice and bright with a solid fit and perfect tip! It rates Exc++. There are a few surface scratches but that's it. It retains its original blue pebbled buffer pad. The steel based, blue, pebbled leather covered scabbard looks awesome! About 99% leather coverage remains intact! The solid nickel fittings match the hilt in color and wear. The aluminum chain is in excellent condition. It has 6 upper ringlets and 9 lower, ending at a well working OLC marked clip! The solid nickel hilt has nicely aged with time yet still retains some factory lacquer! The blue leather grip has great leather. It retains its triple brass twisted wire wrap. All four separately inserted brass sun wheel swastikas look great! Finally a tag from the bring-back Vet. is included, ( it's attached with a twist tie I removed to photograph) indicating this was traded for a pack of smokes in 1945 by Sgt. L Holcomb of Murfeesboro TN.
