Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht Armband

Here we have a Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht Armband! These were worn by members of the "National Militia" that was established in October 1944 as a last-ditch effort regarding the outcome of the war. It is constructed out of a white cotton base and has been printed with red and black ink coloring. The obverse features in white "Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht", with two white national eagles (with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika) one to either side. This all lies on a black backing that has a horizontal white and black line above and below it and has a surrounding red border. The top and bottom edges have been folded over and stitched together with black stitching. It looks to be issue stamped to the reverse.
