You've got to love the early patina ones! The 28 inch long, single fuller, plated blade on this one is beautiful! It is perfectly marker marked "SMF" with the stamped proof mark just above it. It has an excellent mirror like finish to it, that shines wonderfully in the light! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! The blade rates a solid NM! It has the common surface scratches from the runners. The original blue p[pebbled leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The wood based, blue pebbled leather covered scabbard is just wonderful! It shows the common pressure marks yet retains 99%+ coverage and has a perfect seam! The nickel-silver scabbard fittings are in wonderful shape, with wonderful lacquer toning throughout! All four screws remain intact. The nickel-silver hilt is also in wonderful shape, matching the scabbard fittings perfectly! The four sun wheel swastikas look excellent! The pommel top has gorgeous hand enhanced oak leaves and acorns. The wood based blue pebbled leather grip is wonderful as well, nicely matching the scabbard. The double twisted wire wrap is fully secured. This piece continues to retain its original hanger and teardrop hanger clip! A wonderful piece that is sure to be prized in your collection!
