An excellent looking late war Parteiabzeichen! These were available for private purchase / given (HJ/BDM) to individuals after they had joined the NSDAP. It is constructed out of a die struck, zinc-alloy base and contains red, white and black paint work, that has been silver washed. The round shaped obverse depicts a black mobile swastika on a white backing, encircled by: "NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE - D.A.P." on a red backing. The slightly concave reverse shows a horizontally soldered on round plate (with two holes in it) tombak pin that remains in well working condition. The back is also marked "RZM M1/103" (Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen). The paint work is in great condition remaining 98%+ intact. The pin measures approximately 15/16 of an inch in diameter. An inexpensive item that is great for any collection!
