The blued blade on this one rates Exc++! It's got a couple mm of sharpening to a few mm right at the edge. There are a few dots of oxidizing on that edge as well. There are a few witness marks where the runners rested on the blade surface, as well a bit of dried cosmoline. The tip come to a sharp point and the fit is perfect! The blade is stamped "S/155K" and "3222" which matches the scabbard! The spine is also stamped inspection stamped. The steel, black anodized scabbard has a few dots of oxidizing and retains a beaitiful finish while remaining completely dent free! The side screw continues to remain intact. The solid hilt looks great. The black bakelite grip plates are in beautiful condition! No cracks, splits chips or damage! This piece is inspection stamped everywhere! This one also comes with a nice 4 aluminium rivet frog. It is tightly secured with all of the stitching and rivets intact. I was tempted to spiff it up with a bit of shoe wax but I prefer to sell them exactly as I received them. Overall this is an excellent example you will be proud to own!
