Here we have a Spanish M1893 Bayonet. The blade is a plated example and looks great. It has a solid fit and nicely pointed tip. The plated exterior gives it a great looking mirror like finish. It rates Exc+/Exc++. It has several pressure marks to both sides and a bit of spotting throughout. The leather based scabbard looks excellent! It has two decorative lines to both sides and is tightly stitched to the back. There are no heavy scuffs or rips. The steel based plated fittings look great and are tightly secured by two brass staples (one to each side). The throat retaining screw remains intact and tightly secured. The scabbard to hilt fit looks great! The hilt is also steel based and plated. It matches the scabbard in color and wear. It does not have a barrel hole. It has two wood grip plates that are tightly secured. The button to the top is tight but still works. Overall it looks good and the price is right!
