A beauty for sure with all matching patina! The bright blade on this one looks great! The acid etched "Original Eickhorn Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning running the full length of the blade. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates a NM. It shows just the most minor age. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The nickel-silver based scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling throughout and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free. Just wonderful patina here with a "shadow" from where the crossguard protected it. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The zinc-alloy based, silver plated Eickhorn crossguard provides wonderful detail throughout the eagle's head, wings, wreath and chest. Note the bit of factory lacquer remaining to the crevices!!! Guys just just can't fake this stuff! Topping this off is a neatly engraved reverse "LC". The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns. The orange, trylon grip on this one is perfect with age patina to the crevices. Don't hesitate, this is the one to get!
