M35 Luftwaffe Q64 DD Combat Helmet

Here we have a combat worn M35 reissue double decal helmet that is in unaltered original condition and purchased directly from the Vet's family. The shell is a reissue helmet which is why the original decals were painted over, then the eagle was replaced. The shell continues to be in great shape. It has great paint with some areas of scuffs and scratches, exactly what one expects to see on a worn example but no dents. The Luft. decal is in good shape with wear consistent with the shell. The Tricolor shield is 10% intact having been removed consistent with regulations. To the inside the ink stamped size 57 liner remains intact along with the original drawstring and chin strap. All the fingers remain intact and it has normal period wear. The original shin strap is stamped 1942 indicating it is a period replacement. The inside is marked "Q64" and lot numbered as well the reverse is named, "Kochs". A nice luft helmet here.
