One by the one of the most popular SA dagger makers Ernst Pack. The blade on this one has been cleaned and has some light fingerprint stains. The motto and maker mark both look nice and it has a tight fit. The blade has some crossgrain and rates an Exc+/Exc++. The undented black painted scabbard body is lightly worn. It has some small chips throughout and some marks from honest wear. The solid nickel fittings show wear and the ball has taken a good hit. All of the screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect. The solid nickel crossguards look great. The reverse of the lower fitting is stamped "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The brown hard wood grip has a chip out of the upper left reverse and more to the upper obverse crossguard fit. There are some pressure marks throughout but no splits. The grip / crossguard fits are near perfect! The beautifully detailed solid nickel eagle has a perfect fit. The roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 99% of its enamel. PLS NOTE: The hanger is NOT included. Overall a very decent example.
