A beautiful piece of silverware specifically made for Adolf Hitler residences. This silverware was made by P. Bruckmann & Söhne, Heilbronn and designed by Prof. Gerdy Troost. It is constructed out of an 800 silver content. The obverse handle depicts an embossed Natioanal eagle with closed wings clutching a wreathed swastika flanked by the Führer's monogram: "A" (left) and "H" (right), to the largest portion, which is bordered in a "Greek Key" pattern. The reverse is smooth and is marked, to the center, with: a crescent, a crown, "800" and a Prussian eagle. It shows the common surface scratches/hits and age patina throughout. There is nice detail to the eagle, maker mark and greek border! It measures approximately 4 ¼ inches long. A quality rare piece!
