A very nice piece! The blade on this one looks excellent! The acid etched "Alles für Deutschland" motto and "Paul Weyersberg & Co Solingen" maker mark are both dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain is easily visible to the full length of the blade, all the way from hilt to tip. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! This blade rates a solid Exc++/NM. It shows the common surface scratches and minor age spotting throughout. The steel based, brown anodized scabbard looks good. The scabbard body has been cleaned. It continues to remain completely dent free and only shows minor spotting throughout. The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great. The ball has a small bruise yet retains a nice round shape. All four screws remain tightly intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The reverse of the lower crossguard is marked "S" (Schlesien). The brown hardwood grip looks great. It shows the common pressure marks throughout along with one wee crack above the roundel. No flakes or chips! The solid nickel eagle retains beautiful details and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 45%+ of its enamel. An great piece.
