A beautiful matching example by WKC! The blade on this one is gorgeous! The dark and crisp acid etched knights head "WKC Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed! The crossgrain is stunning and runs all of the way from the hilt to tip. The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight!. The blade rates a solid NM. It shows the slightest evidence of age spotting along with the commonly seen runner marks. The brown leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The steel based and nickel-silver plated scabbard is in super condition! It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and hand enhanced oak leaves and acorns. It also remains completely dent free. If you look at the edges of the scabbard 90%+ of the factory lacquer remains there! The original, more efficient, single throat retaining screw remains tightly intact. The alloy based nickel-silver plated WKC tomahawk eagle crossguard provides crisp details throughout the straight head, wings, wreath and chest! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with the proudly displayed oak leaves and acorns! The warm orange trylon grip looks beautiful! No marks, cracks or chips! A minty piece just for you!
