A rare maker to see on 2nd Lufts, I don't know why but guys like Puma. The plated blade on this one has a perfect tip, solid fit and a nicely stamped "Puma Solingen" maker mark to the reverse. Some of the plating is lost and there is some age towards the tip. It has been personalized with the letter "L." The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. The brown leather buffer pad continues to remain intact. The scabbard looks great! It continues to provide nice detail with its random pebbling, hand enhanced aluminium bands and its oak leaf and acorn motif towards the tip. It has a could small impressions that you can find with your fingers. The two throat retaining screws continue to remain intact. The aluminium crossguard also depicts great detail with hand enhancing to the eagles chest wings and top side oak leaf and acorn motif! The pommel has some nice gilding remaining. The orange trylon grip on this one looks great remaining free of chips or cracks. The springy wire wrap that remains tightly intact. Finishing this is a post-war portepee. A nice piece by a rare maker!
