Luftwaffe Mess Hall Spoon by W.J.S. 1936

Here we have an Early Luftwaffe Mess Hall Spoon! It is constructed out of an aluminum alloy base. The obverse of the handle is marked with a 1st pattern Luftwaffe, open winged eagle, clutching a wreathed swastika in one of its talons. The reverse is marked: “W.J.S. 36” (Wilhelm Jordan, Solingen 1936) and “Fr.U.V” (Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung - Flight Barracks Administration). There are scratches/hits throughout. Overall it is in good condition! It measures roughly 8 3/16 inches long. A nice piece!
