Bugler Blued Etched Dress Bayonet by E. Pack

Check this beauty out! The 9 5/8 inch long, single fuller, plated, etched and blued blade looks wonderful! The obverse display an elegant bugler motif of a frosted etch which reads “Zur Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit” with an oval blued panel of a call to arms pattern. The reverse is beautifully maker marked “Siegfried Waffen E. Pack & Söhne Solingen”. The plating on the blade gives it a wonderful mirror like finish! The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is perfect as well! The blade rates an easy NM. It shows the common surface scratches throughout. The brown/black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard is in wonderful condition! It remains completely dent free and continues to retain 98%+ paint coverage! The original throat retaining screw remains intact and the ball is perfectly round. The alloy based, nickel-silver plated hilt is wonderful! It continues to retain 99%+ plating coverage! The black checkered bakelite grip plates are in near perfect condition. Both plates are tightly secured to the hilt with two steel rivets. The button continues to work well! See page 85-86 of Techet’s “German Etched Dress Bayonets”. A stunning example!
