Original era manufacture with original canvas sheath 1945 dated on the reverse. OD plastic handle that is partly damaged, with a parkerized finish blade with factory edge maker marked TRU-TEMPER US 1945. The sheath is period marked, skull and crossbones with 8 "Kills" marked underneath "Jap Killer" and "USMC Guadalcanal IWO Peleliu" and "Mad Dog". To reverse, "Midway S. Island" and "Bloody Nose Ridge". Wow! if this thing could talk!
