A nice piece! It is constructed out of a white silk base with a printed on red circle. The rectangular shaped obverse features a centrally placed red circle (representing the sun) on a white base. The reverse is the same. The fly and hoist ends have been folded over and stitched together. The hoist end corners have a re-enforcing triangular stitched on brown/gold paper ends that hold two white cotton mounting strings each. This piece has age toning, soilage and ironing ripple damage. All four corners have been pierced by a previous owner for display. It measures approximately 36 inches long by 26 inches tall. A nice piece!
