Spanish Cross in Gold with Swords

The Spanish Cross in Gold was awarded to soldiers of the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War (July 17, 1936 - April 1, 1939). Only 1126 gold crosses were awarded. Die struck in silver, lightly worn gilded convex breast cross; reverse stamped with incuse "900"; measuring approximately H 56.4mm x W 55.9 mm, weighing 32.7 g. Though unmarked, some in the collecting community have attributed this to be of Godet production.
